1:1 Personal Training

Your body and goals are unique and your exercise and program needs to be also. Whether you’re new to health & fitness or a more seasoned enthusiast, The Jersey Personal Training experience works because it’s a personalized customized solution tailored to YOU and your body, your goals and your starting point. Being healthy is about more than just lifting weights, getting your heart rate pumping and having some fun! WHAT WE DO IN 1:1 TRAINING 

Every workout is a total experience, delivering exactly what your body needs to get stronger, leaner and healthier. Each Session starts with a focused cardio warm-up followed by a series of movement preparation exercises. After that we go into a focused exercise session tailored to your goals. Then we strictly work on your core musculature. Lastly, we finish the session with a progressive instructor led stretching sequence to work on flexibility.

Dear Wayne, After joining I have to thank you for teaching me that if I work hard in my routine and come to all of my sessions that  I will see results.  The routines are very different than anything I ever did at other big chain gyms.  You showed me how to properly use the equipment and get the most out of my workouts and pushing me made me get the most out of my workouts.  Comparing Jersey Personal Training to other gyms I quickly realized that other gyms were making promises that they couldn’t keep.  My workouts with you have been fun and exciting! 

I remembered at one gym they made a workout for me and they never once bothered to ask me if I was getting results or if I needed a new routine or how I was doing. I perceived myself as a healthy individual but on September 28th 2009 I went for a blood pressure screening and to my surprise my blood pressure was 185/110.  As you can imagine I was scared because I considered myself a healthy person when in reality I was not.  My Dr. immediately wanted to put me on medicine but I refused.  She also recommended a change in my diet and exercise.  I walked into your studio thinking exercise was a walk around the block.  You quickly showed me what exercise was all about.  You have been my cheerleader throughout this whole process.  I learned to eat so much better as a result of your nutrition program.  I used to eat salami and meats loaded with sodium and through work with you I learned how to eat healthy again.  I learned about healthy foods such as almond butter and hummus and I tweaked my nutrition completely.

I also learned how to rethink a lot of things.  I always gave myself an excuse for not working out.  With you I have scheduled appointments that hold me accountable and committed to my fitness.  My blood pressure has now leveled off all due to my exercise habits of working one on one with you.  I like that the focus is on me when I workout with you.  The 1:1 is key.  My friends buy material things but material things fade away and if your health fades away it all means nothing.  I continue to improve in all aspects of my fitness and my heart rate both at rest and during exercise is in the 95th percentile for my age!  I now am setting a new goal for myself by running my first 5k race.  After 41 years of my husband pushing me to run I now thank Wayne for giving me the confidence to go out and do it!
